This event highlights youth leadership in support of civil society. At 1:00 PM, guests gather and eat lunch. At 1:15 PM, sponsor videos and remarks with Vickie Cassanova-Willis. At 1:30 PM, Welcome Remarks by Ambassador Michèle Taylor, United Nations Human Rights Council, followed by Remarks from Desiree Comier-Smith, the Special Representative for Racial Equity and Justice, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. Students from Howard University will report on SDGs, acknowledging racial disparity in the United States. The discussion will be moderated by Jadayah Spencer. At 2:30, closing remarks will be provided by Justin Hansford.
